Anna Kolehmainen is a visual artist and a printmaker, whose main media are intaglio, monotype and drawing.  Subject matter of her art includes color studies, paths and animals. She is interested in trying to understand life itself through art. "By observing and creating, it is possible to get a clearer picture of internal and external reality."
Kolehmainen lives and works in Hämeenlinna, Finland. She is married to illustrator Ville Salonen.
